At around 2:30 AM, police received a report of gunshots heard on Hagedisstraat, possibly from a firearm. The reporter indicated multiple persons might have been involved. Several units immediately responded to the scene.
Warning Shot
Officers spotted a person matching the description from the report and attempted to stop him. The person fled and ignored orders to stop. Officers pursued and fired a warning shot.
Use of Surveillance Dog
At Eenhoornstraat, officers found a vehicle with a person possibly involved in the incident. Due to the nature of the report, the man was subdued using a surveillance dog. He was bitten and slightly injured. The man was arrested and taken to the detention center but has since been released and is no longer a suspect.
House Entry
A second suspect, a minor from Groningen, was arrested at a house on Eenhoornstraat by the arrest team. He is suspected of illegal possession of weapons, is detained, and is being questioned. No firearms were found.
